Massage therapy is the assessment and manipulation of soft tissues and joints of the body to effect a therapeutic response in the treatment and prevention of physical dysfunction.   Therapeutic massage reduces or eliminates pain, improves joint mobility, improves circulation, increases lymphatic drainage, reduces muscle tension, improves immune system functioning, reduces depression, stress and anxiety.


Massage therapy can help with a range of conditions, some examples:

  • Repetitive strain injuries (RSI’s), tendonitis

  • Sprains, Strains, Dislocations, &Fractures

  • Postural dysfunctions (Kyphosis, Scoliosis)

  • Fibromyalgia

  • Headaches

  • Stress and stress-related conditions

Massage Therapy is a regulated health profession in Ontario and should be performed by a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.
